Q & A
-
What first attracted you to the graduate programme? How did you hear about it?
- The opportunity for International travel was one of the key things that attracted me to Kraft Foods. The company values are important to me too and all the Fair trade work - i feel very proud to work for a recognised company.
-
What's the best thing about the programme in your experience?
- The best thing about my experience so far has been the exposure to senior management and the fact that i'm instantly recognised as a graduate. People realise a graduate's full potential and therefore want to help them obtain it. I feel very supported in achieving my goals.
-
What's the most exciting project you've worked on?
- The most exciting aspect of my role is the exposure to customers. I worked on an exciting project with Morrison, which consisted of lots of meetings in Bradford and managing of locations for new convenience stores. I really enjoy the customer-facing element of projects like this one.

What kind of skills, values or behaviours does it take to become a Kraft Foods graduate?
- Drive and ambition definitely, and being open minded – there are a lot of categories, departments and locations to explore so you need to easily adapt and be flexible.
Saying that, you must also be aware that you're only in your 20s so there's a lot to learn. You also need passion, energy, flair and your own unique strength.

-
How would you persuade another Graduate to join Kraft Foods?
- Everyone has an impact and the potential opportunities and the numerous amount of roles on offer are impressive.
I also value the ethics and culture – Kraft places their values with people. Although it is an international company, it is not a big ocean – but more like a group of little ponds where everyone can make a difference.
